Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Monika Kiripolsky and her practice (“the Practice,” “we,” “us”) collect, use, and protect information when you visit drkiripolsky.com, contact us, or request an appointment. By using this website you agree to the practices described here. Medical information you share with us as a patient is protected separately under our Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA), which you receive at your first visit.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation, fill out a form, message us by phone, text, or WhatsApp, join our email list, or make a purchase in our store, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, the treatments you are interested in, and any photos or notes you choose to send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect certain information when you browse, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stay. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookies Policy.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from scheduling, payment, review, and advertising partners that we work with, and from social platforms when you interact with our content there.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to your requests and schedule appointments, to provide and improve our services and this website, to send appointment reminders and practice updates, to process store orders, to understand how visitors use the site, and to show you relevant information about our treatments, including through advertising on other platforms. We also use information where required to comply with the law and to protect the Practice, our patients, and our staff.
Protected health information
Website forms are a convenient way to reach us, but they are not a secure medical record. Please do not use them for medical emergencies; call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Once you become a patient, any health information you share with us is treated as protected health information under HIPAA and is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy. If the two documents ever conflict regarding health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
Text messages and WhatsApp
By providing your mobile number and choosing to text or WhatsApp us, you agree to receive messages from the Practice about your inquiry, appointments, and care. Message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP, or by letting our office know. Please avoid sending sensitive medical details through messaging apps; we will move detailed conversations to a secure channel.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure and, with your consent, to understand how it is used through Google Analytics. You can view, block and delete cookies through your browser settings. Our Cookies Policy explains what we use and how to opt out.
To keep our request forms free of spam, they use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than an automated program is sending them. It looks at technical signals from your browser and device, not at what you type into the form, and Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the practice and this website (for example scheduling, hosting, analytics, email, payment, and advertising vendors) under agreements that limit how they may use it; when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of practice assets, in which case we will require the same protections. Testimonials, reviews, and before-and-after photos are only published with the patient’s written consent.
Your privacy choices and California rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and adjust cookies at any time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion or correction of that information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact our office using the details on our Contact page. We will verify your identity before responding and will reply within the time required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal, medical-record, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit for our website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please use judgment about what you share through online forms.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has provided information to us through the website, please contact us so we can remove it.
Third-party sites and social media
Our website links to third-party sites, including our online store, scheduling tools, and social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. When you interact with us on social platforms, the platform’s policies also apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. For questions about privacy at the Practice, please contact our office using the details on our Contact page.
