What is Restylane Silk?
Restylane Silk is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler specifically designed for lip augmentation as well as smoothing wrinkles around the mouth (“smoker’s lines”).
How long does Restylane Silk last?
As with any other hyaluronic acid, Restylane-Silk is broken down by our bodies over time and may last between 6-12 months.
Where can Restylane Silk be injected?
Restylane Silk is most commonly used to treat wrinkles around the mouth and for lip augmentation. It can also be used to correct forehead lines, crow’s feet, and horizontal neck lines.
What are the side effects?
The most common side effects are mild swelling and bruising following injection. These side effects are greatly minimized with proper technique. There is little to no downtime following an injection.
